No diplomatic immunity in labour cases - judge
In a landmark judgment, former judge of the Industrial Court, Key Dingake has ruled that foreign embassies do not enjoy diplomatic immunity in cases of labour disputes.

Opposition ready for All Party Conference
FRANCISTOWN: Major opposition parties have reiterated their willingness to participate in the All Party Conference, provided the government entertains proposed electoral reforms.

Batlokwa sue govt over land
The Batlokwa are taking government to court over tribal land ownership rights.In the founding affidavit filed before the Lobatse High Court, the Batlokwa contend that land was taken from them by freehold farms and government unlawfully.

Police arrest BMWU leader
SELEBI PHIKWE: Botswana Mine Workers Union (BMWU) chairman Chimbizani Chimidza was arrested yesterday for fetching the National Executive Committee file from Orapa branch office. The BMWU boss was briefly held at the Orapa Police Station before he was released. The police arrested him with the file when he stopped for refreshments on his way from Orapa.

Two horse race in Bobirwa
SELEBI PHIKWE: Though there are three candidates, the Bobirwa North East council seat by-election tomorrow is a two-horse race between Matlhodi Modisapodi of the ruling Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) and Kimbel Malesela of the Botswana Congress Party (BCP).
