Government to regulate traditional doctors
The Ministry of Health is planning to formulate a policy to regulate its relationship with traditional doctors. An official at the ministry said this was necessary because many people are now turning to traditional doctors for help.

Fierce inferno reduces Serowe mall to ashes
FRANCISTOWN: The Serowe Spar was reduced to ashes as a raging inferno swept through the main shopping complex in the village yesterday. Serowe police commanding officer, Senior Superintendent Matthews Letsholo told Mmegi that almost everything from the seven shops that caught fire was burnt to ashes.

Attorney presses Tombale
Basarwa attorney, Gordon Bennett pressed the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Minerals, Energy and Water Affairs, Dr Akolang Tombale on what would happen if mining activities start at Gope in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve (CKGR). Judge reserves decision in murder case
FRANCISTOWN: Jeremiah Gabo-nthone who is accused of murdering Sarah Galebolae in March 2002 will have to sit tight and await his fate after Justice Moses Chinhengo reserved judgement in the case. Galebolae died days after she was assaulted by Gabonthone.
