Rollers’ Date With Glory
After becoming the first team to rise from relegation to become national champions, Township Rollers are on course to make history again by winning the Coca-Cola Cup for the fourth time.

KBL Increases School Soccer Sponsorship
Botswana Integrated Sports Associations (BISA) received a shot in the arm on Friday night when Kgalagadi Breweries Limited (KBL) sponsored the Coca-Cola Schools’ football tournament with P200,000. KBL increased this year’s amount by P60,000.

Kalavango Soars Higher
Normally, when middle of the table teams slug it out, one would expect a dull or an average encounter. This was not the case when women volleyball teams, Dynamites and Kalavango locked horns at the Botswana National Productivity Grounds (BNPC) on Saturday.

Karate Team Promises Medals From Africa Event
Members of the 16-strong Botswana Karate team to the African Championships in Angola have promised to bring home medals. The squad leaves on Wednesday for the two-day event, which starts on Friday. Botswana proved its mettle in the tournament last year in Durban, South Africa, by finishing third.
