Kojonto banned from Btv shows?

MONKAGEDI GAOTLHOBOGWE

One of Btv’s producers, Joshua Ntopolelang, who also happens to be a gospel musician has been banned from appearing on television shows. It is alledged that after one Mokaragana show recently, Joshua was summoned to appear before the Btv director who told him he should not be seen on Btv performing again.

Joshua aka Kojonto, has released one of the most inspirational gospel albums around, Malibongwe, which has taken RB1 fans by storm. His recent appearance on Btv, the first of its kind was one of the ways to promote his project. Ntopolelang did not hide his disappointment when contacted for comment, “I sing for God, the market’s response has been supportive, but now I am being banned from appearing on Btv just because I am an employee of Btv. I am also a citizen, and working for Btv should not disadvantage me,” Ntopolelang replied.

Ntopolelang does not present any programme on Btv, but other music producers are often seen appearing on other music shows in the same television station they work for and they never get a reprimand.
