BMC in heavy debts
LOBATSE: The Botswana Meat Commission (BMC) is in heavy debt, executive chairman, Motshudi Raborokgwe said yesterday when addressing the Lobatse Town Council meeting.The parastatal has a bank overdraft of P160m. BMC has not been doing well in the past five years. In 1999 the company lost P17.1m; in 2000 the loss was P21m.

Man to hang for killing lover, son
FRANCISTOWN: A twenty-six year old Ncojane man Oteng Ping was sentenced to death yesterday for the murder of his son Tshiamo Thusang in 2001. He was also sentenced to 15 years imprisonment for murdering his live-in lover Iponeng Thusang.

Clothes for disabled go missing
