BFA gives Jelusic new contract
The Botswana Football Association (BFA) has renewed the contract of national team coach, Veselin Jelusic to 2006. BFA president, David Fani announced yesterday that Jelusic’s contract has been renewed until December 31, 2006.

FORMER Mochudi Centre Chiefs caretaker coach, Edwin Masire says he is delighted that Chiefs and blood-rivals Township Rollers have secured a place in the 2004/5 St Louis Premier League.

Roma grabs Mido Hossam
Marseille’s Egyptian striker Ahmed ‘Mido’ Hossam has signed for Italian team AS Roma. Roma said they had paid Marseille US $7.3 million for the 21-year-old, who joined the French first division side last year after spells at Ajax Amsterdam and Celta Vigo.

Zambia to bid for Nations Cup
The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) will bid to host the 2010 African Cup of Nations. “As FAZ, we have made a decision that we must bid for the 2010 African Cup of Nations,” said FAZ spokesperson Mwansa Mbulakulima.
