Africa has progressed in teledensity - Ramsamy
SADC executive secretary, Dr Prega Ramsamy says although Africa lags behind in telecommunications, it has made significant progress in the last few years. He said teledensity in Africa now stands at an average of 8.65 percent from one percent at the turn of the century.

BDC launches new loans management system
Botswana Development Corporation Limited (BDC) will launch its Loans Management System to internal and external stakeholders today. According to a briefing note from BDC, the system will be launched together with its Website New Look, which has its features consistent with, and reflective of a contemporary marketing tool for the corporation.

Flying the Zebras logo
When a group of sketchers sat in London to plan the corporate logo and colours for Investec Asset Management Botswana, they did not know that one of them was a Botswana national soccer team (Zebras) supporter. Tebogo Naledi, who heads Investec - one of the country’s leading pension fund managers - is a supporter of the national team and uses the zebra colours on the company’s corporate logo.
