Chilling out on the Thamalakane
I arrived in Maun on Friday morning. After concluding my business for the day I took a walk to the banks of Thamalakane that borders Rileys Hotel. Although it is still a beautiful river, the by-products of development are taking a toll on the Thamalakane. Litter - in the form of bottles, cans, and plastic bags - is to be found everywhere turning the bank of the river into an ugly sight.

Bad weather diverts AB plane to South Africa
A domestic flight from Francistown to Gaborone had to be diverted to Johannesburg on Monday because of heavy rains at Sir Seretse Khama Airport.
