GCC Mayor decries development funding shortfall
GABORONE City Council (GCC) Mayor Harry Mothei lamented the fact that the central government only gave the Council nine percent of the development funding it asked for. The Council requested P381 243 884 but got P34 876 622. Mothei told a full council meeting that the allocation is a serious shortfall from what they had initially proposed to the Ministry of Local Government.
