Parents have abdicated responsibility
IT is a common refrain that is repeated with desperation. “Today’s children have no respect for anybody”. You have heard it many times. All the evidence is there. Vandalism and theft of school property, alcohol and substance abuse, disrespect for school authorities, lack of concentration in schoolwork, illicit love affairs between students and teachers.
