Chiefs deny Nare interest
Centre Chiefs have denied allegations that they are seeking the services of Maletamotse coach Daniel “Chico” Nare.
The Mochudi side maintained that contrary to reports, they have not opened talks with Nare to recruit him as head coach.
At the weekend, Mmegi Sport was informed that the current Chiefs’ coach, Ernest Kupe’s contract ends this month and the management had decided not to renew it.Cricket team prepares for World Cup
THE national cricket team is in camp to prepare for the second stage of the 2007 World Cup qualifiers.
Botswana is scheduled to play Zambia in Lusaka between August 1-7 in a group that includes Namibia, Uganda, Tanzania and Nigeria who are associate members of the International Cricket Council (ICC).
