Govt to establish milk collection centres - Seloma
THE Assistant Minister of Agriculture, Pelokgale Seloma, told Parliament on Monday that government is establishing milk collection centres, like the one in Pitsane, so that farmers in the area can pool their milk at the facility to be processed at relatively lower costs. Seloma was answering a question from Barolong legislator, Ronald Sebego, who wanted to know what the Ministry of Agriculture is doing to boost the dairy agriculture sector.

Police force need helicopters - Magang
THE Managing Director of Phakalane Estate, Lesang Magang has supported calls for government to purchase helicopters for the police service. Magang was speaking over the weekend at a business community workshop, which was organised by the Broadhurst Police Station. The workshop was held under the theme; ‘Making an effective contribution in combating violent and intrusive crimes.’

Entrepreneurship workshop to improve business potential
THE Entrepreneurship Development workshop, which opened in Gaborone on Monday is designed to expand the potential for setting up a successful business or improving an existing one. The 10-day workshop hosted by Enterprise Botswana (EB) is designed to stimulate new businesses, generate new employment opportunities and increase profitability.
