Leading by example
BOTSWANA is rated among the top countries in the world with a high infection rate of HIV/AIDS. To try to reduce the infection rate and de-stigmatise the disease, President Festus Mogae has been in the forefront of the fight against HIV/AIDS. This gesture has been applauded world wide because it is seen as the right step in trying to save the population from being decimated by the deadly epidemic.
