Coke fizz continues
AT least four Super League teams are expected to tumble out this weekend as the Coca-Cola race intensifies. Eight Super League clubs are pitted against each other and four of them must fall by the wayside. The all Super League sides involve Tasc-Notwane; Mogoditshane Fighters-Prisons XI; BMC-Jwaneng Comets and Police XI-Extension Gunners.

Athletes redeemtheir pride
BOTSWANA’S athletes have come back from international competitions with some notable achievements. Though the athletes won only two medals, Botswana consoled itself by the fact that it posted an athlete in the finals of the world junior championships for the first time, while the relay team qualified for the Athens Olympics.

What if ‘Cellular’ was in the national team?
IT was after Edwin “BK” Disang struck a 45-metre drive at the rain drenched Somhlolo Stadium in Swaziland, during the under-23 Olympic qualifier that he earned the nickname “Cellular.” Thereafter, he blossomed into a fearless striker that partnered well with his team-mate at club level, Modesto Chilundumene.

Mogae takes to the pitch
PRESIDENT Festus Mogae will be on the ball on Sunday when Members of Parliament (MP) tackle the Barlcays’ Bank team in a charity soccer match at the National Stadium. The one-hour spectacular is expected to thrill spectators from 3:15pm.
