Tshelametsi in the spotlight
WHEN the Zebras confront Morocco in the 2006 World Cup/African Nations Cup Group Five qualifier tomorrow, one man who will be in the spotlight is the Trinidad and Tobago based goalkeeper, Kagiso Tshelametsi. Tshelametsi will get a rare start in the absence of suspended first choice goalkeeper Modiri Marumo, when the Zebras entertain the Atlas Lions at the National Stadium.

Zebras’ dream team
THIS week the major talk in town and around the country, has been tomorrow’s epic clash between the Zebras and Morocco. Supporters this week drew their dream line-ups for this duel. Sports reporter TSHEPO MOLWANE joined the chorus and came up with his own dream team.

Barclays to take on MPs for charity
BARCLAYS Bank of Botswana and the Parliamentary Special Select Committee on HIV/AIDS have launched a football game to raise funds for charity. The game will be played between Members of Parliament and the executive management team of Barclays Bank at the National Stadium on July 25, 2004.

Makgalemele to try his luck for BFA Presidency
PHILLIP Makgalemele has declared that he will stand for the Botswana Football Association (BFA) presidency during its general assembly scheduled for August. Speaking to Mmegi Sport on Wednesday, Makgalemele said, “football now needs fresh ideas, new life and innovations for it to transform. Running football with a business mind shall be core in my leadership.”
