Try the spiritual solution

2/25/2004 10:35:55 PM (GMT +2)

I was greatly troubled by your article on loneliness, depression and stress. Although medically there might be a cure, there is an even better solution which is free namely, the spiritual solution.

God created the human being, human life was endowed with dignity, feelings, moral standards as well as a manual called the Holy Scripture.

Any attempt to exist outside of this manual creates a spiritual vacuum. One develops a guilt-trap, episodes of acute loneliness, inexplicable sadness, loss of appetite and sleeplessness.

However, as soon as one makes a concerted effort to regain the link with the Creator and lives a sober, Godly, spiritual life characterised by prayer, Bible reading, going to church, listening to Godly music, refraining from adultery, drinking, smoking drugs, one’s conscience gets purified.

Suddenly the loneliness, sadness, stress goes away. Also there is a feeling of hope and joy. The fear of death and the future disappears and is replaced by the expectation of Heaven and other eternal goodies.

Have you ever wondered why despite the absence of alcohol and drugs, generally the folks at Church are always a happy and cheerful bunch?

I strongly encourage those with the following signs and symptoms to go to Church immediately: continuous loneliness, stress, sadness, feeling guilt, fear of the unknown, fear of death, depression, sleeplessness, a craving for drugs, sexual immorality, bondage to pornography, spiritual emptiness, internal vacuum, loss of appetite, suicidal tendencies, evil thoughts, nightmares, drug addiction.

It won’t even take God a day to fix your condition free of charge. All you need is prayer.
