Australia-based Thabiso Maretlwaneng says he will put the disappointment of missing the World Championships in Mexico behind him to make his mark at the Asia Pacific Karate Championships, which start in Malaysia this Sunday.

Kolagano to re-launch with local team
Former South African-based no-nonsense defender, Pius Kolagano says he is looking to regain his fitness with a local St Louis Premier League team. The ex-Dangerous Darkies player suffered a threatening knee injury on August 18 while playing for the national team away to Zimbabwe.

BVF holds mini volleyball festival in Masunga
Botswana Volleyball Federation (BVF) will host an Under-13 festival at Masunga Sports Complex on December 3-4. From November 2003 Barloworld Botswana has sponsored the festival with P100, 000. The money has been used to train coaches and hold mini-volleyball festivals.
