Articles promote Islamophobia
We, as the members of the Botswana Muslim Association (BMA), are writing in response to two articles that appeared in Mmegi of November 26. 2004. The first one was a feature article entitled ‘Justice Denied?’ and the second a piece entitled ‘Nothing to Hide?’.

Insensitive remarks about AIDS prevalence
As a young Batswana student studying in the United States, I get to interact with people from different cultures and countries, especially those from the African continent.

BDP must respect the will of the people
Please allow space in your paper to heartily congratulate Nelson Ramaotwana on his historic election to the position of Gaborone City Mayor. In Shona they say Makorokoto! (congratulations!).
