Fashioning the township
McGivo is a small one-room fashion studio located in the brigade compound of Old Naledi. Just outside this studio the “ghetto” is going about its normal business; shabbily dressed late 40s’ shoe cobblers sit on bricks fixing shoes, young girls loiter around public phone booths with shy and naughty smiles on their faces, a mother with toddlers clutching her dress hawks her wares under the searing sun.

Models should not conform to stereotypes
After a frustrating two hours of waiting within the halls of the Maharajah Restaurant, the 24 graduating models came out on show to an audience that was on the verge of picketing. Stage smoke, lights, and cameras set the mood for the ramp as the music played.

When will man stop killing man?
King Arthur is at the New Capitol Cinemas. The latest King Arthur (2004) is a fantasy tale set 10 centuries earlier than the one we have known until now.
