The veteran little known artists
THE name Zane Lang might not sound familiar in the local art circles, though he has been around for quite sometime. Lang and a renowned South African sculptor, Gert Swart are currently holding a joint exhibition at the Octagon Gallery at the National Museum. The event ends on August 29.

Botswana Television Company signs new deal
A local film and television production company has signed a partnership agreement with a UK based television company. The partnership is between Botswana Television Company, owned by Billy Kokorwe and Dominique Savage Pictures of the UK.

Army, ‘Fahrenheit’ distributors in row
Just in case anti-Bush documentary Fahrenheit 9/11 needed any more controversy to fuel its hot box office, a new war of words broke out last week over whether the United States Army is stonewalling efforts to book the film at military bases.
