The Botswana Brigades Sports Association (BOBSA) has selected teams to play friendly games against Tshwane University of Technology in Pretoria, South Africa.

BOBSA president, Molemi Leinane, said they have selected two teams from each sports code to play Tshwane sides. The teams are expected to depart for Pretoria on August 27 and to come back on August 31. Lucky Chishiki, BOBSA public relations officer said that it is the first time the Brigades teams will play outside the country. He said that players are to report to Tlokweng Rural Development Trust by Wednesday next week, otherwise they might lose their places to those who are on the reserve list. Training sessions will be held on Wednesday and Thursday prior to departure for South Africa.

Leinane said that selected players and officials should ensure that their passports and visas are in order. The trip has been funded by the Botswana National Sports Council (BNSC). Leinane said that the Brigades from which the players have been selected should assist with transportation to and from Tlokweng.
